Black Tea:
- 3 black tea bags
- 4 cups boiling water
Peach Syrup:
- 3 large peaches, ripe
- 2 cups water
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar (use 1/2 cup for a sweeter tea)
- Make the black tea: Bring 4 cups of water to a light simmer. Remove from heat, add tea bags, steep for 5 minutes, cool, and chill.
- Make the peach syrup: Blend 1 cup water, sugar, and peaches. Heat the mixture with the remaining water, boil, simmer, steep, strain, and chill.
- Put it all together: Combine black tea and peach syrup in a pitcher. Stir, add ice, garnish with peach slices, and serve.
