Black Tea:

  • 3 black tea bags
  • 4 cups boiling water

Peach Syrup:

  • 3 large peaches, ripe
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (use 1/2 cup for a sweeter tea)

Instructions

  1. Make the black tea: Bring 4 cups of water to a light simmer. Remove from heat, add tea bags, steep for 5 minutes, cool, and chill.
  2. Make the peach syrup: Blend 1 cup water, sugar, and peaches. Heat the mixture with the remaining water, boil, simmer, steep, strain, and chill.
  3. Put it all together: Combine black tea and peach syrup in a pitcher. Stir, add ice, garnish with peach slices, and serve.
