  • 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese. Add the onion and garlic.
  2. Crack the egg into the mixture. Pour in the soy sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme.
  3. Mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Roll 1.5 tablespoons of the mixture into meatballs.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. In a saucepan, combine honey, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar. Heat until bubbling.
  7. Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook the meatballs until browned.
  8. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the meatballs in the skillet and simmer until cooked through.
