Ingredients:
- 20 Cherry or grape tomatoes
- 20 Mini mozzarella balls
- 20 Fresh basil leaves
- 1 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar reduction
- Stab a cherry tomato with a toothpick and slide to the top. Take care not to pierce through completely.
- Take a basil leaf and fold in half or thirds depending on size. Slide up the toothpick below the tomato.
- Finish off the skewer with a mozzarella ball. If serving upright, balance it on the mozzarella ball to prevent tipping.
- If serving immediately, drizzle with balsamic reduction. For later, store skewers and reduction separately in the fridge until ready to serve. Drizzle just before serving to maintain freshness.
- Offer extra balsamic reduction in a small bowl for guests to add more if desired.
