Ingredients

Scale

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped dill pickles or sweet pickles
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard, or to taste

Assembly:

  • 1 (16 ounce) package egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook Ground Beef Mixture: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain and transfer to a bowl. Add pickles, cheese, and mustard; mix well.
  2. Assemble: Place a wrapper on a clean surface, add filling, and roll tightly into a cylinder. Seal the edge with water. Repeat for remaining wrappers.
  3. Fry: Heat oil in a saucepan to 365°F (185°C). Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.

Notes

  • Make sure to seal the egg rolls tightly to prevent filling from leaking out.
  • Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite cheeseburger toppings.
