A fun twist on a classic cheeseburger, this Cheeseburger Quesadilla combines all the flavors of a cheeseburger in a crispy quesadilla form. Perfect for a quick and tasty meal!

For the Ground Beef:

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon Pepper
  • ¼ cup Dill Pickles (chopped)

For the Quesadilla:

  • 4 Burrito Size Tortillas (10 inch tortillas)
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

For the Special Sauce:

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Minced Pickles
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Onion
  • 2 Teaspoons White Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper, then drain off excess grease.
  2. Prepare special sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, minced pickles, minced onion, and white vinegar.
  3. Heat skillet: Preheat a separate skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  4. Assemble quesadillas: Place a tortilla in the skillet, spread special sauce on half, top with ground beef, pickles, and cheddar cheese. Fold in half.
  5. Cook quesadilla: Cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook until cheese is melted and both sides are golden brown.
  6. Serve: Repeat process to make remaining quesadillas. Slice each into 4 pieces and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can customize the filling with your favorite burger toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, or even bacon.
