For the Chicken:

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast (or chicken thighs)
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

For the Sauce:

  • 10.5 ounce can cream of chicken soup (1 can)
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese

For Garnish:

  • freshly chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place chicken in the slow cooker and top with cream of chicken soup and minced garlic, spreading to cover the chicken.
  2. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 3-3½ hours, until the chicken is fully cooked.
  3. Make the Sauce: Remove chicken from the slow cooker. Add cream cheese and parmesan to the pot, whisking until smooth. Return chicken to the sauce.
  4. Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
