  • 45 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  2. Step 2: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.
  3. Step 3: Add the thinly sliced potatoes to the skillet. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine the seasonings with the beef and potatoes.
  4. Step 4: Pour the beef broth (or water) over the beef and potatoes. Stir to combine. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
