Ground Beef And Potatoes Skillet
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup beef broth or water
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Step 1: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat if necessary.
- Step 2: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.
- Step 3: Add the thinly sliced potatoes to the skillet. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine the seasonings with the beef and potatoes.
