Dough:
- 2/3 cups lukewarm Milk
- 2 tsp Dried active yeast
- 2.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 cup Sweetened condensed milk
- 4 tbsp Butter, softened (salted)
For Brushing:
- 1.5 tbsp Milk
- Butter for brushing on top of baked rolls
- Activate the Yeast: Combine lukewarm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Mix the Dough: In a stand mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, condensed milk, and butter. Add the activated yeast and mix until a dough forms. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Knead the Dough: Knead the dough in the stand mixer for 10-12 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Rise the Dough: Let the dough double in size for about 60 minutes in a warm place.
- Shape and Proof: Divide the dough, shape into rolls, and let them proof for 30-45 minutes.
- Bake: Brush the rolls with milk and bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Finish: Brush the hot rolls with butter for a soft crust. Serve warm.
