  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp avocado oil (or coconut oil)
  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt, to taste (Maldon is a great brand)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Date Bars: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice dates in the middle and remove any pits. Place dates on the baking sheet slit side up.
  2. Smash the Dates: Flatten the dates with the bottom of a glass, ensuring they are close together.
  3. Add Peanut Butter: Spread a layer of peanut butter over the dates.
  4. Melt Chocolate: Combine dark chocolate chips and oil, melt in the microwave, and pour over the peanut butter.
  5. Add Toppings: Sprinkle chopped peanuts and sea salt over the chocolate.
  6. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate or freeze for at least 30 minutes, then cut into pieces before serving.
