Ingredients

Scale

Cheeseburger Filling

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 810 small cheese cubes (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or 1 can crescent roll dough (or homemade pizza dough)

Garlic Parmesan Butter

  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheeseburger Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until browned and fully cooked. Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes to blend the flavors, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Bombs: Flatten each piece of biscuit or dough with your hands to create a small disk. Place a spoonful of the cooked beef mixture in the center, and top with one cheese cube. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching tightly to seal all edges and enclose the cheese and beef entirely. Place each sealed bomb seam-side down on a prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the assembled cheeseburger bombs for 12 to 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown and puffed up.
  4. Add Garlic Parmesan Butter: While the bombs are baking, combine melted butter with minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. When the bombs come out of the oven, immediately brush the garlic Parmesan butter generously over the hot surface to infuse extra flavor and richness. Serve warm and enjoy the melty cheeseburger goodness!

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Use any cheese that melts well, like pepper jack, mozzarella, or Swiss for variety.
  • If using homemade pizza dough, roll it out and cut into small rounds similar in size to biscuits.
  • Make sure to seal the dough tightly to prevent any filling leakage during baking.
  • Serve with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer to restore crispiness.
