  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Vegetables:

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Others:

  • 4 hoagie or sandwich rolls
  • Optional: mustard, mayonnaise, provolone or mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or stovetop grill pan to medium-high heat. In a bowl, toss sliced bell peppers and onions with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Grill the vegetables for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until softened and lightly charred. Set aside.
  3. Grill beef kielbasa for about 4–5 minutes per side, until browned and heated through.
  4. Toast sandwich rolls on the grill for 1–2 minutes, if desired.
  5. Assemble each sandwich by placing grilled kielbasa in the bun, topping with grilled peppers and onions.
