  • 2 lb. baby back ribs
  • 1/2 cup (110 g.) packed light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne

BBQ Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup (215 g.) packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika

Instructions

  1. Ribs: Preheat oven to 300° and line a baking sheet with foil. Remove membrane from ribs if present. Mix brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, mustard, paprika, and cayenne. Rub mixture over ribs and bake covered for 2 hours.
  2. BBQ Sauce: In a saucepan, boil ketchup, brown sugar, water, vinegar, molasses, Worcestershire, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, and paprika. Simmer until thickened. Broil ribs brushed with BBQ sauce until caramelized.
