Peach Filling
- 8 cups peeled and thinly sliced fresh peaches
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Crisp Topping
- ½ cup + ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, room temperature
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Butter a 9×9 inch baking pan to prevent sticking and set aside.
- Mix Peach Filling: In a large bowl, combine the peeled and sliced peaches with granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, cornstarch, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt. Toss until the mixture is evenly coated. Pour this peach mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
