For the Garlic Butter:
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon Basil
- 1 tablespoon Butter, at room temperature
For the Sandwich:
- 2 slices Soft Italian Bread
- 1 tablespoon Finely Grated Parmesan
- 1 cup Angel Hair Pasta
- 1/2 cup Bolognese Sauce
- 6 slices Fresh Mozzarella
- Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix garlic, basil, and room-temperature butter. Spread this mixture on one side of each slice of Italian bread. Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon of Parmesan on the buttered side of each slice.
- Cook the Pasta: Cook the angel hair pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and mix with 1/2 cup of bolognese sauce.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Lay one slice of bread buttered side down. Top with mozzarella slices, bolognese-covered pasta, more mozzarella, and the second slice of bread buttered side up.
- Grill the Sandwich: Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet, cover, and cook until golden brown on each side. Serve hot.
